Fabric and Acrylic

I found I love to experiment with recycled materials and painting on fabric surfaces. I began these pieces by creating a substrate with varying sizes of fabric that gives me an overall mother shape. I then paint my image with acrylics. The fabrics give me a sense of unknowing as each material reacts to the paints differently.

Painted on Recycled Sailcloth

Continuing on my recycling concept, my brother-in-law challenged me to paint on stretched sailcloth. The cloth reacts quite differently and adds an interesting effect to the acrylic paints.
